What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

I dislike how long it initially takes to get to the needed pages. Having to open multiple tabs makes searching easier and cuts down on the amount of time I spend waiting for the page to load. It would be easier for me if everything I needed to do with one invoice could be done from the same page. I frequently have to refund invoices, and this can't be done from Intacct. I have to go to Intacct to find the information and take it to Braintree (both EFT and CC versions). There's about a week's waiting period for everything to process and sync; then I have to use Intacct to verse on one page and reprocess on another. It isn't very easy to learn at first either. Since there are so many back and forth steps, a lot of manual fixes, one thing at a time, it takes a lot of patience and asking questions. It helps me find copies of invoices for customers and reverse and reprocess invoices. All of these tasks help the customer get invoices paid and make sure the right customer is paying. What do you like best about Novi AMS?

I’ve been a daily NoviAMS user since 2017 as it manages our non-profit trade association, and it has been an absolute game-changer. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy to navigate for individuals of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned techies.

One of the standout features is its seamless integration with QuickBooks Online. This has saved us a significant amount of time and reduced errors when managing our financials, as everything syncs automatically. Whether I’m tracking memberships, managing events, or running reports, the software ensures everything runs smoothly.

Overall, NoviAMS has simplified our operations and made our work more efficient. The onboarding process was something we were unsure about but nded up being smooth. This is so difficult because there aren't many downsides to the product for us. Almost no downtime in the almost 10 years we have been using it.

I would say it's ability to use other products but now it has an open API so other tools and software work together. That's a gamechanger for our trade show.

Before NoviAMS, we wre trakcing memberships using a clunky spreadsheet. That is a thing of the past.

We used to do so many manual ccounting tasks that are 100% automated and trackable using NoviAMS and QuickBoos Online.

We are saving so much precious staff time now that members can register themselves, download receipts, add their own team members, etc., using their Member Compass dashboard.

What do you like best about Givebutter?

Out of the many donation platforms we've tried, Givebutter has been the simpliest and most straight-straight forward out of all of them. Yes, sometimes it can be lacking in features, but especialy for a relatively small nonprofit, this is somewhat of a positive. Voulenteers can be trained on the platform in a matter of hourse, and it's dead-easy to create and share campaigns.

The web portal has continuously gotten better over the 1 1/2 yrs. we have used it -- the developers clearly care about user experience, and it shows.

There are a small number of built-in integrations, we found it relatively easy to link to platforms like Slack and Monday.com, and the CRM gets the job done. Keep in mind, this is no Salesforce CRM, but many smaller non-profits don't need it to be. It's incredibly easy to implement in small to medium size organizations which has helped us bring the focus back from wrangling with expensive, complex software, to actually connecting with donors and fundrasing.

Givebutter's customer support has been wonderful, though we've rarely found we need it. When we started using the platform, the founders personally reached out to us after a week to check that everything was going well. We had a few issues with verifying our nonprofit status, so we simpily relpied to the email and it was fixed in hours. We could not dream of a better customer support experience.

What sealed the deal for us, aside from Givebutter being a well-built platform was the pricing stucture. We found, that for a small org. like ours, it was the best way to keep the most of our money with the least headache. There are no monthly platform fees -- a godsend for a nonprofit that only funraises for a small part of the year, and the fees charged are reasonable. Yes, you will be charged the regular credit card processing fees (2.9% + 15 cents per donation), but this doesn't go to Givebutter and all platforms charge this. The fee charged for fundraisers is 3%, fairly reasonable, even more so when we found that about 90% of our donors covered all fees through the "tip" option.

This has been perfect for us, as we've kept about 98% of our donations net of fees, something we are happy to pay compared to what other platforms charge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Givebutter?

There are few negative things we have to say about Givebutter; it fits very well with our usecase, but it may not be great for all organizations. This product is not (yet) competitive with some of the software larger organizations use. If you need a complex CMS, automated email engagement, rich connections and APIs, you won't find it here. Additionally, some features such as letter generation and text message outreach are definitely in their infancy.

Customer support is great at resolving issues, and the app is constantly updated, but don't be surprised if you find a few bugs in the user interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?

Givebutter primarily serves as our fundraising platform and basic donor CRM. Donors can easily donate via credit card, check, or even DAF and we keep about 98% of the donation. This is perfect as it allows us to easily create campaigns, write our story, and make easily sharable social media templates for the peer-to-peer fundrasing we primarily engage in. Additionally, we use Givebutter as a simple CRM, keeping track of donor's contact information, donation history, and status of thank you letters and reciepts in one place, in a simple enough manner for most volunteers to use. What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

It simplifies bill processing and automation also very easy which ultimately reduces human error.

Flexibility to make the payments is one more advantage of having a BILL and the platform is intuitive and easy to navigate, even for users with little accounting experience. The platform’s automation also reduces the risk of late payments or missing invoices, improving cash flow management.

It is easy to integrate/implement with Intacct as well.

Customer support is also very good and they respond early with an accurate solution.

What do you like best about Zeffy?

We are a very small nonprofit and the zeffy team has been great in helping us get setup with their platform. They are every responsive in their support. They offer free regular workshops to help you learn more and ask questions about how to get the most of the plateform. We were able to set up different compaigns to raise funds and we love the fact that Zeffy immediatly sends the donor receipts and creates a spreadsheet that allows us to know who donated and how much and export that into Excel. What do you like best about Zoho Invoice?

Even the free account has a proffessional, polished looking invoice at the end. A client actually complimented me on it! In future, I'd like to get the paid account and customize the invoice to match my brand.

I like that I can create a client account (they even get a portal) so that I can easily select them, get their information autofilled into the invoice, and keep track of their payments.

What do you like best about Stampli?

Stampli is a fantastic AP workflow software that is efficient and user-friendly. It has tremendously helped our team process, record, approve, modify, and export invoices to our accounting system. Before, invoices were often lost and, consequently, paid late. Stampli helps foster a positive working relationship with vendors, who could also easily check on the status of a payment within the Stampli platform. Business runs smooth and compliant utilizing Stampli.

Additionally, the chat feature with a live customer care representative is extremely handy. You receive immediate attention with an actual person who will help answer questions and guide you in the right path. Overall, wonderful software for all businesses who receive vendor invoices! What do you dislike about Stampli?

A couple of hiccups we experienced using Stampli arose when we made edits to a vendor or customer name in our QuickBooks system because Stampli treated the edited vendor and customer name as new vendors and customers.Therefore, the history of transactions in Stampli were only showing under the old version of the name. Stampli is currently unable to make the change on the backend to move the transactions in batches from the old version to the new. The only option is to manually open every invoice and make the change there; however, our company has hundreds of transactions for each and cannot go this route due to time and cost restraints.

The second issue we have is when we have hundreds of invoices received from vendors in the later part of a period and it takes our staff extra time to get the invoice through the entire review process, which the invoice ends up missing the cut off period for export in QuickBooks. The problem is we close our books in QuickBooks then we need to change the date of many vendor invoices in Stampli to the first of the following, open month. Again, we have hundreds of invoices in this case and would like to see a batch option in the future to make for a quick and easy change to all invoice dates at once.

Bank feeds are through Yodlee for Australian users - this can take up to a week to fetch new transactions, or, have to be manually refreshed with accounts protected by 2FA. This is an issue I have raised with our bank and Zoho, but seems to be taking longer than expected to resolve. This issue isn't the wort to have, just inconvenient at times. The best part of snap raise is the ease of setting up a campaign and the website. Everything was setup in a prompt fashion and changes were taken care of quickly. The downside was not being able to use the system to send the text messages directly. To get the message and link from the computer to the students phone then send it was a bit of a hassle. I love that this product is easy to set up and use. I have a need to track time to the minute, and this makes it simple. I need to see my reports by time, and be able to separate projects within clients by time. This also allows for easy invoicing and ease of keeping track of those invoices. I don't need every function under. the sun. What it does, it does well for me at a reasonable price. I've had one minor issue to connect with customer support, and they were super responsive. What do you like best about iMIS?

We have seen a drastic reduction of manual tasks. The automated processes allow us to spend time on other work. Also IMIS can integrate with many other products which is also a great time and effort saving for us. What do you like best about Bonterra Guided Fundraising (formerly Network for Good)?

Our small nonprofit was struggling to manage our donors, donations and engagement trying to cobble together a web of support with various options. We moved to Network for Good to consolidate our information and tactics for optimum reach and engagement. Having all of the information in one place (contact info, giving info, interactions, click rate, etc) has been immensely helpful to our small staff wearing many, many hats. Organized groups allow us to target communications and not send massive scattershot emails. What do you dislike about Bonterra Guided Fundraising (formerly Network for Good)?

One of our biggest cons is the price tag. We are a small nonprofit and every penny spent needs to be for a good reason. It was an expensive decision for us but we have appreciated all the tools and benefits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fundraising campaigns were something that we didn't even realize we needed but have been so great. The flexibility to have different campaigns for different needs has been great. What do you like best about Wave Invoicing?

Wave Invoicing is one of the best user-friendly cloud invoicing software I used. It has all the features required to generate invoices and Freelancers, Small Business owners, as well as other self-employed professionals, will find it very helpful. The solution is highly flexible in terms of product configuration. Things such as proration, adjustable billing cycles, detailed discounts, and bundling of services are easy to design and maintain. What do you dislike about Tridens Monetization?

The Business operations UI section offers very high flexibility, but the look-and-feel has some room for improvement. I can see that the rehaul of this section is on Tridens' roadmap, which is great news! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tridens Monetization solving and how is that benefiting you?

When we manage to fully automate the »Order 2 Cash« process we will save plenty of time and resources. Monetization is currently used primarily for annual and monthly billing of our clients for cloud computing services such as secure data storage and SaaS products. “I love it, my clients love it - can't say enough good things.”
What do you like best about Copilot?

My small accounting practice was growing, and I needed a solution to manage new client onboarding, and general secure file sharing, communication, and billing. I wanted to build out my client portal myself, and I needed to do it fast. I also wanted my client's experience to be easy.

I had explored several other softwares I've heard about through my network, and they were SO time consuming for me to set up, mostly because they are so customizable, in addition to having countless zapier integrations and stuff I didn't care about. Then, I found Copilot in the Google search results.

From the beginning, the setup was so easy and intuitive, without compromising on the quality of the experience AND is still customizable where it matters. It's so user friendly, and my clients have loved it for this reason. I also really appreciate how sleek and modern it is. I was able to build out my client portal over a weekend. Its also really cool that you can create a test client and practice everything before sending to a real client.

Customer support is quick to respond. I use this software every day with my clients, as the messaging feature allows us to minimize email clutter. My favorite app is the Tasks app, which is a very simple and effective project management-ish app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Copilot?

There are a few features I've suggested to support, who have been very receptive to the feedback:

- Integration limitations: (a) Doesn't yet integrate with Xero, my accounting software. (b) All integrations with popular apps (Notion, etc) are only for client facing purposes, not internally facing.

- Project Management: Tasks app has a ton of potential for internally-facing project management, but for right now, gets the job done fine since I'm a solo-firm owner. I'd love to see more features here for categorizing tasks and bulk actions!

- Forms: Would be fantastic to see more options here for different questions prompted based on responses to one-answer questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
