Automated Testing Software

Typically, Automated Testing is a capability of a variety of other G2 Software categories. See more below to select the

best Automated Testing Software.

Automated testing software can refer to a few different components of application development and maintenance. Software testing products give teams the ability to evaluate software performance, usability, and functionality. Teammates can utilize the feedback to add additional functionality and make necessary changes. Test automation tools are a component of the development process that monitors application performance and assists users in tracking bugs. Continuous integration software will also provide similar software testing abilities but focuses on specific continuous delivery and build automation practices. These products allow administrators to constantly test new additions and changes to source code during the continuous delivery process.

“Launch Darkly is a really good tool”
What do you like best about LaunchDarkly?

I've heard engineers talk about how easy it is for them to put new features behind a feature flag in Launch Darkly. From the product side, its super easy to create segments of users. This has improved the way we manage our Alpha, Beta, and GA releases. I'm currently leading a huge intiative at the moment; I can not imagine doing this effectively without LD. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LaunchDarkly?

Their zapier integration is limited. We were attempting to completely automate our beta process leveraging Launch Darkly + Hubspot forms. We failed to do so because LD's zapier integration doesn't support Segments. We are exploring leveraging their public API to build a custom solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LaunchDarkly solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has helped us do a few things better. 1. We manage alpha and beta releases more effectively. 2. We hav avoided massive outages by leveraging percentage based rollouts 3. It has helped us reduced the risk of launching large features or intiatives in our customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“I managed to streamline all our code and improved its quality”
What do you like best about GitHub?

All my work as a Developer has changed since GitHub came into my life. I never worry about accidentally deleting or deleting critical code. If something goes wrong, I just go back to an earlier version and that’s it. When I need to test something without changing the main code, the ability to deal with branches has saved me more than once. By using code reviews and pull requests, we can keep our workflow organized, make changes in real time, and comment on individual lines. Reviewing, commenting and suggesting changes to my coworkers' code directly on pull requests is a fantastic example of team collaboration. Thanks to GitHub, I no longer have coding errors and the quality of our code has increased. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GitHub?

For those who are not familiar with Git, at first, the learning curve can be a bit high. I still remember the first time I tried to set up a workflow using GitHub Actions, at that point programming was not my priority; I spent more time reading documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GitHub solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our entire development process now runs on GitHub. We can communicate without accidentally overwriting files, all changes are well documented, and the code is never lost because we use it. We can locate the source of a production issue because GitHub recorded every change we made. Without any drama, we simply examine the confirmations, identify the problem and solve it. It has also been very helpful for our security, we guarantee that there are no safety failures or defects in production, we do code reviews for each extraction request. The advantages outweigh the disadvantages considerably, despite some minor problems such as learning curve and limited integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The application is only related to the test management if there's an automated tool installed then I don't think this would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tuskr solving and how is that benefiting you?

The organization of thousands of test cases was one of the major issues we have faces during project deployments which has been solved by neat arrangement of test cases. This not only improves the efficiency but also solves the problem of dilemma among the testers. The ease of getting work done with fantastic test cases has also helped a lot. The way of organising the test cases in a well manner with reusable templates improves the efficiency and reduces problems. The seamless integration with jira or slack provides a great workflow. The analytics about test coverage and progress is amazing and very useful .The Creation detailed test cases using a WYSIWYG editor with rich-text formatting, allowing for clear and structured documentation helped a lot during system integration testing and UAT scenarios and will also be used in the future. -Exploratory Feature helps the tester to write test cases while running the test. It saves us a lot of time.

“Excellent regression testing solution”
What do you like best about QA Wolf?

I'm really happy with the QA Wolf product. It was able to quickly spin up meaningful regression tests against a rather complex web application. The regression tests have continued to prove their worth as we continue to improve our product. The best part is that QA Wolf's hands-off approach for test creation and regression bug triage allows my team to focus on creating new and exciting features without having to spend large portions of their time ensuring existing functionality is still working.

QA Wolf was very easy to implement. They handled the onboarding and test creations, and any issues or concerns we had were quickly addressed. We run regression tests several times a day, and the ease of setup and integration with our CI/CD process has made life much simpler in terms of testing and releasing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QA Wolf?

A full regression run can take a long time to complete and review. This is mainly due to our product's complex setup, which can cause other areas not to behave as expected during testing. This limits the number of concurrent tests that can run, which increases run times. I believe this is less an issue with QA Wolf's product than with the complexity of our product. However, as QA Wolf learns more about our product setup, the tests are getting better and more stable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QA Wolf solving and how is that benefiting you?

QA Wolf solves the continualy problem with any software updates, introduced regression bugs. They are great at implementing useful tests that have proven to quickly catch introduced regression bugs as we continue to update and improve our product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Qase Review”
What do you like best about Qase?

I really like that the free version comes with everything you need to create a repository of Test Cases that you can use with your project without any problem, there are some limitation when it comes to use APIs, executions, integration with other tools, for those escenarios you will need to upgrade to a higher plan, which is reasonable, but the free plan comes handy for small projects or at least someone that is trying the tool.

They have a great customer support, really fast response, they provide clear and concise steps to fix issues.

You are able to schedule meetings for demos purposses or for asking questions, really fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qase?

I would really like to be able to link Test Cases as precondions or steps to follow, I know that we have "shared steps", if you have a Test Case that follows or has similar steps you will have to edit the Test Case and now the "shared steps", just to simplify things, allow to link Tests cases as steps of another Test Case, like we do in Jira, hehe, sorry to compare, but that's somethign I like from Jira, avoid complexity and time consuming when editing Test Cases. “Complex deployment challenges are efficiently adressed by this tool”
What do you like best about Copado DevOps?

To my mind, I like Copado DevOps for its rich functionality in the context of development processes. It also does an excellent job with always on CI/CD which has made a significant difference with our releases. One of the big strengths for us has been that we can link it to Salesforce and other tools to be able to better track the deployments. Especially the general visibility and control it offers has been instrumental in being able to release software on time and with accuracy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Copado DevOps?

However, the major disadvantage of Copado DevOps is that it is expensive and some small teams or companies may not be able to afford to use it. The resources necessary to leverage the platform to its full potential may not be in line with the company’s financial capabilities. Also unique is the fact that the platform is sometimes overcomplicated by its various features that can barely be managed without a team. This has sometimes led to our organization witnessing some form of unwarranted hold up accompanied by unnecessary price increment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Copado DevOps solving and how is that benefiting you?

There are numerous issues that arise when it comes to the development and deployment of applications, and Copado DevOps has been helpful in their resolution. By continuously integrating and delivering, their manual work has been cut down and there are fewer chances of making mistakes in the deployment. This is has resulted into faster cycles and more credible software which has had an added advantage to our team since we are able to avoid spending considerable time solving problems of deployments. The platform also provides excellent data backup and recovery options, ensuring data integrity and security. Additionally, the customer support is responsive and knowledgeable, which adds great value to the overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AutoRABIT?

While AutoRABIT is feature-rich, the initial setup and implementation can be somewhat complex, especially for organizations with less technical expertise. The user interface, though functional, could benefit from a more modern and intuitive design. At times, the platform's performance can be sluggish, particularly when dealing with large data sets or complex environments using Dataloader. Lastly, the pricing might be a bit steep for smaller teams or organizations with limited budgets, making it more suitable for mid to large-sized enterprises. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AutoRABIT solving and how is that benefiting you?

I worked on a Proof of Concept (POC) for use cases specific to the Salesforce platform. ACCELQ proved to have great potential in automating test cases for a dynamic platform like Salesforce. To my surprise, I was able to automate the test cases faster than expected.

When the test scripts were revisited, they were found to be stable, requiring only minimal maintenance, which was effortless to handle. I efficiently utilized ACCELQ's locator-free identification feature, which added to the ease of automation.

Another standout feature was the tool’s intuitive nature—there was no significant learning curve. As I started using the tool, its user-friendly design made it easy to get familiar with its features.

For execution, I used a local agent. The execution process was not only fast but also unattended, requiring no separate effort or enablement. This made the automation experience seamless and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
